High Speed Traffic Management

Who should attend

Supervisors and site personnel who work on high-speed roads, dual carriageways and motorways.

Aim of Course

To comply with present legislation and codes of practice, to expand awareness and understanding of the dangers of working with high-speed traffic.

Course Content

• Refer to and use sector scheme guidance
• Choose relevant signs, lights and barriers for traffic management
• Refer to and use chapter 8 of traffic signs manual
• Recognise health and safety problems
• Set out traffic management in safe sequence
• Manage the unloading of materials for traffic management safety

Training Method

By traditional lecture, visual aids and practical demonstration.
