CITB Construction Skills Site Safety Plus - Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
Who should attend
This course is aimed at site managers, agents and any others who are responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering a workforce.
Aim of Course
The course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the building, construction, and civil engineering industries.
CITB Accredited Since April 2003.
The objectives of this five day course are to help site managers, agents and supervisors to:
- manage health and safety on site in accordance with current legal provisions, and within the context of their management or supervisory role
- develop an understanding of responsibilities and accountability for site health, safety and welfare
- recognise a safe site is efficient, economical and productive
On successfully completing the course,delegates are awarded the Construction Site Manager’s Safety Certificate.

Training Method
By traditional lecture, visual aids and practical demonstration.
